Partenkirchen (Ludwigstrasse), Oct. 11

On Sat. 10-11 we explored Ludwig Street -- one of the most scenic walking streets in Germany. Among many shops, plazas and churches was the historic Werdenfels Museum in a 400-year old Partenkirchen building. It housed rich cultural artifacts of the area and was the only building on that street not destroyed in the 1865 fire.

We ate a delicious meal at the Drei Morden -- highly recommended by both the Voges and Jones.
