We accepted an invitation from the Center for International Legal Studies (based in Salzberg, Austria) to teach law school in Bulgaria for two weeks in Oct. - Nov. 2008. Before embarking on that adventure, we stayed in the Voge's home for one week (Oct. 10-18) -- on the edge of Garmisch right at the river Loisach. It was a great place to begin, located near the U.S. George Marshall Center and the Kaserne military base. What is nicer than Bavaria in October?
