Our gracious host professor at UNWE (University of National and World Economy), Dr. Jivco Draganov, met us at the airport. After a quick drive around Sofia, he took us to our dorm. It was in one of many 7-story bldgs. in "Studenski Grad." That Student Village housed students of several Sofia universities who did not live at home. UNWE was the closest one -- less than a mile's walk for us.
Built in the 1970s, these buildings needed some work. But our Room 2 on the 2nd floor was quite ample. It even had a balcony.
