Just a few short blocks from Sofia University is the main chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a stately building where two of the four Sofia branches met, in one of the best parts of Sofia near the center of town. The mission home and another chapel are located near embassy row -- farther south of UNWE and the student village. Despite some occasional tensions, there has been recent growth of our Church in Bulgaria, as efforts continued to improve relations and build bridges of friendship and understanding with the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and government officials.
